What we cover — and what we don't.
Every KWS maintenance plan includes accessibility checks as part of our standard of care. We build and maintain to WCAG 2.1 AA. But there are limits to what any studio can own — and you should know exactly where that line is.
ADA legal liability
Kimmy Web Studio is not liable for any ADA, WCAG, or web accessibility-related legal action brought against your business. WCAG 2.1 AA conformance reflects good-faith best practice — it is not a legal certification and does not guarantee immunity from accessibility claims. Consult qualified legal counsel for your specific obligations.
Content you add after delivery
Any content you upload, publish, or modify outside of a KWS service request is your responsibility. Blog posts, images, PDFs, videos, and form copy added independently are not covered under your accessibility maintenance. When in doubt, submit it as a request — that's what the plan is for.
Third-party apps & integrations
Booking tools, payment processors, chat widgets, form builders, and other third-party apps installed on your site operate outside KWS's control. We cannot audit or remediate accessibility issues within external platforms. If you're evaluating a new integration, we're happy to advise — but we cannot be held responsible for their compliance.
Your site after your plan ends
Accessibility maintenance is ongoing, not permanent. Once your plan is cancelled, KWS no longer monitors or checks your site for compliance. Content changes, platform updates, and new integrations added after cancellation are entirely the client's responsibility.
All plans billed monthly. 30-day written cancellation notice required. Submit requests to support@kimmywebstudio.com by 4 PM EST the day before your service day.
